Info
Dizzee Rascal brings his We Want Bass Tour to The Academy in Dublin on October 27, 2026, with a set built for heavy low-end and sharp, fast-moving bars. Coming out of East London’s pirate radio era, he helped push grime into the spotlight with a tight, high-pitched delivery and stripped, jagged production shaped by UK garage, bassline and British hip-hop. Expect the show to move between raw grime pressure and the more dance-leaning moments he’s explored over the years, without losing that London edge. From the early impact of Boy in da Corner through later releases like Raskit, E3 AF and Don’t Take It Personal, his catalogue gives him plenty of angles: direct, punchy tracks made for the front row, plus bigger hooks that still hit hard when the bass kicks in. This date is for anyone who wants the energy of grime in a live room, loud and up close.
