Info
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah land in Dublin for a live set at Button Factory on February 19, 2027, bringing back that indie rock nerviness that first made the project stand out in the mid-2000s. Built around jittery guitars, angular keyboards and Alec Ounsworth’s instantly recognizable voice, their songs play on rhythmic tension and slightly sideways hooks: melodies that stick, but never sit still.
From the self-produced breakthrough of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah to later chapters like Some Loud Thunder, Hysterical, Only Run, The Tourist and New Fragility, the catalog keeps the same off-kilter pulse while shifting colors and dynamics. Today the name is essentially Ounsworth at the center, backed by touring musicians, keeping that independent spirit alive on stage: sharp arrangements, a raw edge, and a repertoire that’s made to be felt in a room, not just streamed.
