Info
On March 21, 2027, Seasick Steve brings his road-worn blues to Albert Hall in Manchester. Born in Oakland and shaped by decades of playing outside the spotlight, he’s built a sound that leans on country blues, boogie and a streak of blues rock, driven by gritty vocals, raw guitar work, slide lines and that stripped-back stomp-and-rattle feel that keeps everything moving.
This show is a chance to catch the long arc of his story in one set: the late-blooming breakthrough that took off in the mid-2000s, the deep connection he’s kept with UK stages ever since, and a catalogue that runs from early releases like Cheap and Dog House Music through later records like I Started Out with Nothin and I Still Got Most of It Left, Man from Another Time, and You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks, all the way to A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down On Your Knees. Expect blues that sounds lived-in, built for a loud room and a close crowd.
