Info
On March 5, 2027, Will Young brings his pop-and-soul sensibility to the New Theatre Oxford in Oxford. Known for turning early-2000s TV fame into a long-term career, he’s built a sound that sits between adult pop melodies, light soul warmth, and sleek electronic touches. Live, that mix opens up plenty of room: confident, dance-leaning arrangements when the groove kicks in, but also quieter moments where his voice does the heavy lifting.
Expect a set that can travel across eras, from the straightforward pop of his early releases to the more synthetic edge he explored later, without losing that focus on interpretation and melody. With recent projects moving between original material and carefully chosen covers, this show should feel less like a greatest-hits rerun and more like a snapshot of an artist who keeps reshaping the same core ingredients: voice, writing, and understated emotion.
