Info
Revealed online through direct, in-the-moment recordings, The Hindley Street Country Club lands in Antwerp for a date tailored for lovers of well-played covers. Led by bassist and producer Constantine Delo, this Australian collective of studio musicians transforms pop, rock, soul and funk classics into clean, vibrant renditions, with the 'live in the studio' vibe that has become their hallmark. The band rests on a solid pop-soul rhythm section, melodic guitars, prominently featured keyboards, and, depending on the track, brass that thickens the groove.
On 9 April 2027 at Stadsschouwburg Antwerp, HSCC will showcase its craft on a repertoire that spans decades, from the 70s to today. Expect recognizable reinterpretations, sometimes very faithful, sometimes slightly rearranged, with particular attention paid to arrangements and vocal textures, often renewed thanks to guest male and female singers. On the program, tracks such as Africa or Sultans of Swing, treated with warmth and precision.
