Info
Dr. Feelgood headlines the Silex in Auxerre on March 6, 2027, with their hard-hitting rhythm and blues, born on Canvey Island in Essex in the early 1970s. The band built its reputation on stage, in the pub-rock spirit: a lean, nervy, no-nonsense sound, driven by a tight rhythm section and riffs that hit the mark. This energy has remained the hallmark of the Stupidity live show, which propelled the band to the top of the British charts.
Over the decades, Dr. Feelgood has piled up concert-ready classics, spanning rock 'n' roll and electric blues: Roxette, Back in the Night, Milk and Alcohol, Down at the Doctors, She Does It Right, and Going Back Home. Today, the lineup features Kevin Morris on drums, Phil Mitchell on bass, Gordon Russell on guitar, and Robert Kane on vocals, for a set that blends the 70s staples with the rest of the repertoire, featuring an opening act.
