Info
Hans Williams brings his indie-folk songwriting to the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on February 6, 2027. Vermont-born and now based in New Orleans, he writes guitar-led songs that keep things deliberately stripped back, letting a raspy, front-and-center voice do the heavy lifting. You can hear a wide set of roots behind the minimal setup: soul warmth, classic pop craft, and a funk edge that sneaks into the grooves without turning the night into a genre exercise.
On stage, his material leans into intimacy and that uneasy, everyday space where you’re half searching, half letting go. Expect a set built around the tracks that helped him break through, including “All Is Well”, “Checklist”, and “Willows”, plus newer cuts shaped for a live room. Whether he’s playing solo or stretching out with a band, the focus stays on the song, the phrasing, and the quiet momentum that makes his work hit in person.
