Info
On April 18, 2027, Rogers Place in Edmonton hosts a night built around A Perfect Circle’s dark, precise take on alternative rock. Founded by guitarist Billy Howerdel and joined by Maynard James Keenan, the project has always balanced heavy, razor-edged riffs with a strong melodic pull and a sense of atmosphere that sticks. Expect a set that moves between the early punch of Mer de Noms and the more introspective shades of Thirteenth Step, with the band’s later, leaner and more electronic colors also in the mix.
Sharing the bill, Puscifer brings Keenan’s other playground: a variable-geometry collective where slow grooves, abrasive guitars and detailed programming meet layered vocals. With albums that evolved from the raw oddness of V Is for Vagina to the more narrative songwriting of Conditions of My Parole and the electronic minimalism of Existential Reckoning, Puscifer’s live shows often feel like a performance as much as a concert. On this Edmonton date, that contrast should make the whole evening flow between tension, texture, and sharp songwriting.
