Info
On January 22, 2027, YaniSs Odua brings his vibes to KUBB in Évreux, for a live show that spans over twenty years of Francophone reggae. Based between Martinique and France, he has built a style at the crossroads of roots and Caribbean dancehall, with a blend that is his own: sung choruses, toaster-style phrasing, and writing that shifts from French to Creole without forcing it.
On stage, his repertoire traverses chronicles of daily life, social realities, and a deep attachment to the Caribbean, carried by riddims that look as much toward Jamaica as toward the Antilles. Milestones such as Yon pa yon, Un autre soleil, or Moment idéal have marked his trajectory, and his more recent tracks, in the spirit of Stay High, inject contemporary touches into the rhythms and arrangements. A concert designed for those who love live, direct reggae, and that is shared as a collective.
