On February 9, 2027, at La Laiterie in Strasbourg, Enslaved will present their vision of black metal at the forefront: a rugged Norwegian foundation, threaded with progressive structures, psychedelic breaths, and that Nordic sagas sensibility that has underlain their music since their beginnings. With the arrival of Mið in their discography, the set promises a constant wide-ranging arc between extreme pushes, more open passages, and melodies that take their time to settle.
Sólstafir, hailing from Iceland, operate with a different tension: post-metal brimming with cold air, guitars that stretch out in an atmospheric rock fashion, and long tracks where melancholy ultimately transforms into a torrent. Here, the vocals and dynamic shifts matter as much as the riffs.
Gaahls Wyrd completes the lineup with theatrical and ritual black metal led by Gaahl. Between dissonances, changing tempos and dark atmospheres, the band builds an inward intensity, tailored for the stage.
