On February 13, 2027, Spanish Love Songs bring their Los Angeles emo-punk to Project House in Leeds, with the kind of set built for singalongs and clenched teeth. Since 2013, the band has been mixing punk urgency, pop-punk hooks and indie-rock shading, carried by Dylan Slocum’s direct voice and songs that don’t dodge anxiety, social fatigue, and the everyday grind. Expect wiry guitars, dense choruses and those keyboard lines that have grown more present over the years, moving through the punch of Schmaltz and Brave Faces Everyone and into the fuller, still emo-rooted feel of No Joy.
From Atlanta, Michael Cera Palin open things up with their emotive indie punk: introspective writing, sharp guitar edges, and sudden shifts in intensity that slide between melodic calm and punk snap.
Philadelphia trio Carly Cosgrove round out the bill with emo-pop-punk energy, math-leaning rhythms, tempo changes, and catchy lines, drawing from their DIY roots and the punchy, everyday storytelling of See You In Chemistry.
