Info
Hudson Freeman brings his lo-fi folk to London on 23 February 2027 at EartH, with a set shaped by DIY instincts and home-recorded grit. Raised between the Dallas suburbs and the Kingdom of Eswatini in an evangelical missionary family, he started writing songs early as a way to step back from that world, and you can still hear that push-and-pull in his lyrics: faith and doubt, moral certainty cracking, friendships that don’t last, and that constant search for belonging.
Now based in Brooklyn after formative years in Springfield, Missouri, Freeman’s songs sit somewhere between intimate folk, hushed indie rock, and slowcore edges. His 2025 record Is A Folk Artist leans into that digital-age storytelling, while the track “If You Know Me” tightened the focus with a single guitar riff, mantra-like lines, and a mood that blurs bedroom pop with post-emo shadows. Expect a night that’s raw, close-up, and built around melodies that stick.
