Info
On 24 October 2026, Hootananny Brixton hosts a proper UK house get-together, built around a back-to-back that’s all about feel and groove. Atjazz and Sean McCabe share the booth for a long, hands-on session where deep house meets jazz-funk touches, soul harmonies and that warm, analogue-leaning swing. Known as Martin Iveson, Atjazz has been shaping the UK deep house and broken beat edge since the mid-90s, with a sound that stays club-ready while slipping in rich musical detail and vocal-minded rhythms.
They’re joined by Groove Assassin (Nick Moss), a DJ and producer with a long track record and a catalogue aimed straight at the dancefloor: soulful house built for momentum, clean transitions and steady pressure.
Rounding out the night, South Beach Recycling bring their Rough Cuts flavour: raw, chunky underground house with dusty loops, tougher drums and a late-night snap that keeps things moving without overthinking it.
