Info
On November 7, 2026, Danko Jones lands at Rebellion Manchester with the kind of hard rock set made for sweaty rooms and singalong riffs. Born out of Toronto’s indie scene in the mid-90s, the Canadian power trio has always gone straight to the point: punchy tempos, garage-and-punk bite, and a bluesy edge when it counts. At the center is singer-guitarist Danko Jones, backed by longtime bassist John Calabrese, pushing tight, no-nonsense songs that circle around desire, nightlife, and the messier side of relationships.
With a discography built for the stage, from Born a Lion through We Sweat Blood and Sleep Is the Enemy, the band has kept sharpening that riff-driven formula across years of relentless touring. More recent records like Power Trio and Electric Sounds keep the same promise: short, direct tracks, built to hit hard live, with choruses that stick and guitars that don’t waste a second.
