Westside Cowboy bring their “Britainicana” to Crookes Social Club in Sheffield on November 26, 2026, with a set built on collective playing and songs that grow in the push and pull between country hues, indie rock drive and art-rock angles. Centered around Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy, the quartet lean into taut guitars, wide-open melodies and an intentionally rough edge that comes through strongest onstage.
After making noise on the UK independent circuit, they sharpened their sound on the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There (Adventure Recordings, January 2026), recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. Expect choruses that stick without chasing Americana cosplay: folk-country inflections threaded through rock tension, with the band’s more direct, abrasive side surfacing as the songs stretch out live. With touring momentum and shared bills alongside bands like Geese and Black Country, New Road, this show is a snapshot of a group still expanding its own lane.
