Info
On October 8, 2026, Brighton Dome hosts a double bill built for anyone who still likes their guitars sharp and their choruses straight to the point: The Wonder Stuff and Inspiral Carpets.
Led by Miles Hunt since the band’s 1986 beginnings in the West Midlands, The Wonder Stuff have always sat at that sweet spot between taut alternative rock and British pop hooks, with a bite in the lyrics and a real sense of momentum on stage. Over the years they’ve stretched the formula without losing the punch, folding in folk and country touches and, at times, violin and banjo to open up the sound. Expect a set that pulls from their late-80s/early-90s run and the records that followed their return, all geared for a live room: fast turns, big singalongs, and that slightly twisted feel-good edge. Inspiral Carpets complete the night with their own brand of UK indie energy, made for a crowd that wants songs, not poses.
