Info
Philip Sayce lands at Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette on October 12, 2026, with this high-tension blues-rock that clings to the body. A guitarist and singer born in Wales and trained in Toronto’s clubs, he has forged an expressive style at the crossroads of electric blues, classic rock, and occasional psychedelic flourishes: tight riffs, solos that take their time, and a raspy voice that pushes everything toward the live performance.
Discovered early, he spent several years on the road with the Jeff Healey Band, before settling in Los Angeles and lending his six-string talents to artists such as Melissa Etheridge or Uncle Kracker. As a solo artist, he carves his own path with a solid discography, from Peace Machine to Spirit Rising, and an instantly recognizable Stratocaster tone. On stage, Sayce treats tradition without turning it into a museum piece, with a modern aesthetic and an intensity that draws as much from groove as from a surge of energy.
