Info
Marian Hill bring their “ACT TWO: THE TOUR” to The Great Hall in Toronto on February 9, 2027, with the duo’s sleek, stripped-back blend of electronic pop and alternative R&B. Built around vocalist Samantha Gongol and producer Jeremy Lloyd, their live set plays on contrast: a flexible, smoky voice up front, then minimalist beats, clean bass lines, and a lot of space in the production.
If you first caught them through “One Time” or the AirPods-era hit “Down,” this show is the right context to hear what sits behind those tracks: nocturnal writing, jazz-tinted touches, and a careful balance between intimacy and punch. From early releases like Play and Sway to the Act One era and later projects, Marian Hill’s songs stay direct and tight, always letting groove and texture do the talking. Expect a set that moves smoothly between pop hooks, R&B tension, and crisp electronic detail.
