On November 13, 2026, Robert Glasper brings his ever-shifting jazz vocabulary to Blue Note London, right in the heart of the city. Raised between church music and Houston’s local scene before sharpening his craft in New York, Glasper has spent the last two decades building a sound where post-bop chops sit naturally next to hip-hop, R&B and soul. On stage, that mix isn’t a collage: it’s a tight, groove-led way of playing where improvisation stays connected to strong, song-like shapes.
Known first for his trio work in the 2000s, he later opened the frame with the Robert Glasper Experiment, leaning into electric colours, vocal textures and beats without dropping the jazz core. Expect a set that can move from sharp piano lines to deep-pocket rhythms, with room for detours, sudden switches and that sense of conversation he’s made his signature.
