Info
ALEXSUCKS comes to Manchester for a live set at Night & Day Cafe on October 7, 2026, bringing that straight-to-the-point L.A. rock mix of garage grit, punk bite and indie melodies. Fronted by Alex, the project keeps things lean: short songs, simple structures, and a band sound built around abrasive guitars, bass lines that push the groove forward, and choruses that stick without trying too hard.
On stage, expect brisk tempos and a nervous energy that nods to classic power pop as much as 2000s indie rock, with a surf-leaning edge when the riffs open up. The lyrics tend to stay on the introspective side, while the performance plays it cool, almost nonchalant, letting the tension live in the playing. A good night for anyone who likes their hooks loud, their rock direct, and their punk urgency packed into tight formats.
