Info
On 15 January 2027, Wage War land at Y Plas Cardiff Students' Union with the kind of metalcore set built for big riffs and bigger contrasts. Coming out of Ocala, Florida, the five-piece have spent years balancing clean hooks with harsh screams, switching between breakdown-heavy urgency and more open, hard rock-leaning choruses. Expect a run through key moments of their run from Blueprints and Deadweight up to Stigma, with that trademark push and pull between melodic lift and full-on impact.
Support comes from Invent Animate, bringing a more progressive edge to the bill. Formed in Texas, they lean into technical structures, syncopated riffing and atmospheric layers, moving between dense, djent-informed parts and spacious, melodic passages. Their recent era, from Greyview through Heavener, is all about detail and mood without dropping the weight, making them a sharp counterpoint before Wage War take over.
