Info
On December 6, 2026, at Celebrities Nightclub in Vancouver, Playhouse puts the spotlight on Andrew Bayer, a producer from Washington, D.C. who’s been shaping his own lane in electronic music since the 2000s. Trained on classical piano before diving into sound design at Berklee, he’s known for sets where trance and progressive house meet ambient textures and slower, left-field grooves.
First noticed through the duo Signalrunners in the Anjunabeats orbit, Bayer later built a solo catalogue that moves between club-ready drive and more introspective songwriting. From the hybrid energy of It’s Artificial to the moodier angles of If It Were You, We’d Never Leave, and on to In My Last Life and Duality, his music plays with structure, melody, and detail without sticking to one tempo or one box. Expect a night that leans as much on emotional builds as on precise, layered production.
