Emerging from the new generation of French techno, Mac Declos develops music focused on sustained tempos, percussion-driven grooves, and melodic lines borrowed from trance and hardgroove. A DJ and producer based in France, he claims a frank club aesthetic, founded on long build-ups, fragmented vocal motifs, and powerful rhythms, which place him at the crossroads of techno, hard techno, and more tribal-sounding textures. Discovered in the late 2010s thanks to a series of self-released tracks and EPs, Mac Declos subsequently releases on various European labels, gradually bringing him onto club stages and rave-oriented parties, in France as well as abroad. His sets, often fast and continuous, favor tight mixing and textural variations over spectacular breaks, prolonging in the DJ booth the production approach he develops in the studio.
