Exposition des architectes coréens

The Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine – Palais de Chaillot is hosting an exhibition organized by the Korean Institute of Architects (KIA) presenting the work of 47 Korean architects, on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between France and Korea. The exhibition celebrates the friendship that has linked the two countries for 140 years and shows that architecture is a language of dialogue between cultures. It offers an overview of contemporary Korean architectural creation, through projects that address the challenges of our time: ecological transition, the quality of public spaces, the integration of new technologies, and the place of culture in the making of the city. Drawing on Korean identity and renewing it through technological innovation, the projects presented provide responses to current urban and ecological challenges. During the presentation, visitors journey to the heart of contemporary Korean architecture, discovering an architecture that engages with its history while looking toward the future.
