On November 20, 2026, southstar comes to EXIL in Zurich, bringing the sound that emerged from Berlin at the start of the 2020s and quickly spread across Europe. As a producer and DJ, he moves between melodic house, moderately paced techno, and electronic pop: looping basslines, clear synths, and a voice often chopped up and used as a rhythmic element. Known for 'Miss You', a track that spread rapidly online and was officially released in 2022. Since then, southstar has released a string of digital singles — sometimes clearly built for the dancefloor, sometimes more focused on melody and song structure. In the DJ set, he carries this aesthetic through: long, progressive tension-building arcs, high-contrast drops, and transitions that feel both direct and precise.
