On November 6, 2026, Wallace Cleaver arrives at Krakatoa in Mérignac with Marcel, delivering an album in which Léo Gond pushes his emotionally charged writing even further. Across these 15 tracks, he sometimes strays from pure rap to explore the realms of chanson and a more direct pop, without losing that eye for detail and phrasing that has followed him since his beginnings. The through-line is that somewhat hazy moment of coming of age: the contradictions we carry, the doubts that return, the fragilities we hide poorly, time that slips away, the loved ones who depart and those who arrive. Marcel plays with stark contrasts, between tracks that burst like Incendie and others more restrained, where he finally gives himself the right to breathe, as on Lettre à moi-même. On stage, one can expect a set that navigates between tension, nuance and bare vulnerability, without overdoing it.
