On March 3, 2027, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats bring their amps to the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne for a plunge into their dark, retro heavy rock. Led by Kevin Starrs, the Cambridge-born British band navigates between dirty doom, psychedelia, and late-60s garage energy, with that saturated tone and those vocal harmonies that linger in the memory.
On stage, their slow, thick riffs come through, songs built like little obsessions, and that cinema-like horror and B-movie atmosphere that threads through their discography. From Blood Lust and Mind Control to The Night Creeper and Wasteland, Uncle Acid unfolds a universe of dark narratives and mental images. More recently, Nell’ Ora Blu pushes the cinematic dial even further, between nocturnal tension and heavy rock. A concert conceived as a soundtrack, where heaviness and melody move forward together.
