On April 29, 2027, at La Laiterie, Alphaville will celebrate four decades of electronic pop with the tour 'Forever! Best of 40 Years.' Formed in 1983 around Marian Gold, the group left its mark on the 1980s with clear, melodic synth-pop, built for live performance and carried by tracks that have become landmarks: Big in Japan, Sounds Like a Melody, but also Forever Young, which has remained a standard covered and rediscovered across generations.
This Strasbourg date promises to be a journey through their major singles and the different phases of the band, from the early hits to the studio comeback with Catching Rays on Giant and I Die for You Today, up to more recent projects. After the symphonic adventure of Eternally Yours, Alphaville returns here in a concert format that places the synthesizers and the refrains at the center, with this direct way of letting nostalgia converse with the present, without a museum or disguises.
