On May 19, 2027, at the Cap d’Agde Méditerranée Congress Centre, Marc Lavoine will present ‘Dans la Peau’ in a pared-down format, accompanied at the piano by Alain Lanty. A way to go straight to the text and the melody, without detours, to rediscover what has defined his signature since the 1980s: a French song crafted like a narrative, between modesty and romantic tension.
Revealed by ‘Les yeux revolver’, Lavoine has traversed the decades by alternating albums and live performances, without allowing himself to be reduced to a mere image. Here, the voice-and-piano duo foregrounds interpretation, the nuances, and even the silences, and restores depth to the titles that have marked his career, from the years of ‘Les amours du dimanche’ to his more recent albums. A concert conceived as a face-to-face encounter, intimate in spirit, where each piece takes time to settle in.
