Buzzcocks land at Concorde 2 in Brighton on December 10, 2026, with the kind of sharp, fast songwriting that helped define late-70s British punk. Born out of Manchester in 1976, the band mixed punk velocity with pop instinct: short formats, direct rhythms, and choruses that stick, whether it’s the snap of Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve) or the restless bite of What Do I Get?. Their DIY breakthrough Spiral Scratch didn’t just set a template for independence, it put melody and everyday tension right at the heart of the noise.
Since Pete Shelley’s death in 2018, co-founder Steve Diggle has kept the group moving forward, taking the mic and steering new material while staying true to that concise, hook-first approach. Expect a set that balances classics with the current chapter, including songs from Attitude Adjustment, where Buzzcocks push the same urgent pace and tight guitar punch that made their name in the first place.
