MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS bring their 'Iwaou' tour to Berlin: On September 30, 2027, the trio will take the stage at Hole⁴⁴ and show why their name has been circulating for years in post-hardcore, shoegaze, and alternative circles. Founded in Kobe, the band lives from this controlled contradiction of brutal dynamism and clear, almost pop-like melodic arcs. Searing guitars, abrupt tempo changes, and a densely layered wall of sound meet ethereal vocals and a precision that leaves nothing blurred even in the loudest moments.
At the center is Natsuko Miyamoto on bass and vocals, who give the songs both pressure and leadership. 'Iwaou,' which will be released on August 14, 2026, is the band's first album since 2022 and forms the fresh reference point of this tour: new pieces that fit seamlessly into a sound that oscillates between noise urgency and direct songwriting. An evening for everyone who wants to hear energy not as a pose but as craft.
