Independent Venue Week presents Best Of British, a series of shows every week across the month of September, championing British artists, venues and local scenes.
Headlining The George Tavern on 29 September 2026 is Lynks. From London's underground and merchant of pure gay chaos, Lynks has been hailed as one to watch by The Guardian, NME, Attitude, DIY, Time Out, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders, Huw Stephens and Elton John. Their live shows have sold out venues across the UK and Europe, transforming Glastonbury, Reading and Latitude into queer dystopias of electro-punk excess. With headline shows at London's KOKO and Heaven, Lynks' cultural takeover is underway.
