On November 22, 2026, at Grey Eagle in Calgary, three Canadian rock staples share the same bill: Honeymoon Suite, Headpins and Lee Aaron. Expect a night built on big choruses, sharp riffs and that FM-rock punch that still hits right when it’s played loud.
Honeymoon Suite bring the melodic hard rock they’ve been refining since the early ’80s, driven by the long-running core of singer Johnnie Dee and guitarist Derry Grehan. From the breakout rush of “New Girl Now” to the arena-sized sheen of their mid-’80s albums, their set leans into hooks, harmonies and that classic AOR glow.
Headpins come with their straight-ahead Vancouver hard rock DNA, shaped in the early ’80s and kept alive through decades of lineup changes. Guitars up front, choruses made for a crowd, and the kind of live energy that’s always been their calling card.
Lee Aaron rounds things out with a career that moves from glam-tinged metal roots to later, bluesier hard rock. A commanding voice, a tight band feel, and songs that know how to balance grit with melody.
