If you’re into UK rap that moves forward without overdoing it, Nemzzz is clearly in the crosshairs. Born in Manchester and raised in Gorton, Nemiah Emmanuel Simms has made a name for himself with a compact writing style and a detached flow that bridges British hip-hop, melodic drill, and more airy passages. Spotted as early as Elevate and later 2MS, he refined his approach on the EP Nemzzz Type Beat, betting on supple production and minimalist hooks rather than the front-facing drill. On stage, he delivers this rap in short, precise tracks, propelled by a deliberately understated diction and cold melodies. Between collaborations (from Knucks to Headie One, including Luciano or Lil Yachty) and mixtapes such as Do Not Disturb and Rent’s Due, he builds a direct repertoire, tuned for live energy.
