John Acquaviva is an Italian-Canadian DJ and producer and a key figure in the history of electronic music.
A pioneer of the scene since the late 1980s, he co-founded the label Plus 8 Records with Richie Hawtin and later created Definitive Recordings.
Beyond the booth, he has also played an important role in the development of DJ technology, including Final Scratch, and helped launch Beatport.
For this edition of TIMEmACHINE at Esbirra Ibiza, John Acquaviva joins Chelu Garcia for a night of house, tech house and underground music.
