Kultur Studio presents Nantes' first Prog Night, a progressive evening in every sense of the term: from jazz fusion to metal, from instrumental to lyrical, from acoustic to electric.
Unsqware's sonic universe stands out for a modern, progressive jazz aesthetic. With extensive musical experience, the four musicians create atmospheres where the warmth of jazz meets the energy of rock and saturated tones. Each piece is an exploration, a journey where composition and improvisation mingle in an original musical experience.
Architect of a sound that is both massive and delicate, Hamasaari brings together several strands of past and present progressive rock. Drawing inspiration from Pink Floyd, Klone, Porcupine Tree or Karnivool, they shape the contours of a musical and sensory journey. Born from the ashes of the band Shuffle, this ensemble, at once serene and melancholic, guides listeners on the path of a storm ritual evoking images like droplets of rain, in a cloudy and dark discourse punctuated by occasional glimmers of hope. They will perform in an acoustic duo format at Prog Night.
Elements is a progressive rock band from Tours that enchants its audience through a blend of technique and emotion, the depth of lyrics sung in French, the finesse of arrangements, and on-stage energy. Elements' songs also incorporate a multitude of polyphonies inspired by Steven Wilson, Leprous, and Pink Floyd.
Their debut album Nouvelle Ère explores progressive textures from several references in the genre while addressing a theme: the questioning of oneself and our place on a world in peril.
