If you discovered him through his viral covers, it’s on stage that Teddy Swims truly shows what he’s made of. Born Jaten Dimsdale and raised in the Atlanta suburbs, the American singer sweeps between soul, R&B and pop, not shying away from detours into gospel, rock or country. His strength lies in that broad, warm voice, capable of moving from a whisper to a blaze, always in service of lyrics that speak of flaws, relationships that are searching for themselves, and rebuilding.
With the EPs Unlearning, Tough Love and Sleep Is Exhausting, followed by the album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), led by Lose Control, Teddy Swims has honed a repertoire that sits between raw, intimate ballads and more nerve-wracking tracks.
