Cam Cole brings his road-tested one-man-band energy to The Crescent in York on February 18, 2027. First spotted on the corners of Camden Town, where his busking sets kept growing until the pavement couldn’t hold the crowd, the London-based songwriter has turned that raw, direct approach into a full-scale live force. Guitar in hand, footdrums at the ready, he pushes a gritty blend of delta blues, folk and heavy rock textures, somewhere between grunge, stoner and metal, all driven by a voice made for loud rooms.
Over the years, his profile has spread well beyond the street circuit: international touring, a notable appearance in Ted Lasso, and a documentary following his early US run. On stage, the show has also evolved, expanding from solo performance into a more theatrical setup with props and extra hands from his New Age Collective crew, without losing the DIY punch that built his reputation. Expect a set that pulls from across his catalogue, including “Mama”, and introduces new tracks from Lost in Creation.
