The Notwist is back. With more than a dozen albums to its name, the German band founded in 1989 is a fixture of the indie scene, blending rock, jazz and electronic. After Vertigo Days in 2021, The Notwist has just finished recording its new album, due to be released on Morr Music in spring 2026.
Girls In Hawaii is also back with a new album and a European tour in the autumn. Available on September 25, 2026, the album titled Eldorado marks a new chapter in a story that began at the dawn of the 21st century; it reconnects with the band's alternative DNA, oriented toward the future. With Eldorado, the group releases its first studio album since Nocturne (2017). Formed in the early 2000s, Girls In Hawaii has established itself over the years on the European indie rock scene. From From Here To There (2003) to Everest (2013), via Plan Your Escape (2008), the band has built a musical universe that has left its mark on a generation. In 2023, it celebrated the twenty-year anniversary of its first album during a European tour.
Goodbye Karelle is the musical project led by artist Karelle Tremblay, unveiled in a first intimate and raw album: Hugh Greene & the Lucies Made Me. Her universe blends spoken word and alternative pop, between ethereal melodies and visceral lyrics. In her songs, Goodbye Karelle tells of love that bursts forth, the loneliness that clings, the memories that haunt. Her deep, embodied voice explores the troubled zones of identity, gender and desire. Goodbye Karelle writes as one keeps a secret diary, composes as one reconstructs memory, in a gesture that is fragile and radical. Like other free-spirited figures from the Quebec scene, Goodbye Karelle deconstructs classic formats and fuses music, imagery and self-staging. A cinematic dimension and a singular emotional intensity inhabit each track. Goodbye Karelle does not perform a role; the artist exposes herself in a complete and fully realized work, where words become living, sharp and sensual matter.
Mek'Dr'Dr is a Brussels-based post-punk duo formed by Mien Heyvaert and Sara De Wit, where groovy basslines and chaotic rhythms are the key ingredients of a minimalist post-punk sauce. With a playful approach, they explore themes such as the ugliness of Flemish linear urbanization and social norms. Their first EP, No Safer Place Than A Toilet Seat, invites you to embrace imperfection and explores themes of love, empathic activism, and the absurdity of life. Inspired by artists such as The Slits and Young Marble Giants, their concerts are synonymous with chaos and surprises.
Simon Lahure, also known as DJ Startup, creates dance music that is joyful, hypnotic and hybrid, blending broken rhythms with big beat accents, IDM and UK garage, with influences from folk music and video game soundtracks. Inspired by both the contemporary traditional scene and the codes of music for visual media, DJ Startup curates sets where the energy of the rave is dressed in the imagery of fairy tales. Since 2022, Simon has been developing an immersive quadraphonic live show, designed to bring the audience as close as possible. Thanks to MIDI racks of his own making, each performance becomes a sensory and festive experience, where sonic storytelling is experienced collectively.
