Info
Ministry lands in Dublin on April 7, 2027 at the 3Olympia Theatre with its tour 'Hate To Go - Goodbye Europe 2027'. Led since 1981 by Al Jourgensen, the band has undergone several incarnations, moving from a cold synth-pop sound at the start of the 1980s to a much more direct industrial rock, where drum machines hammer and guitars align with thrash reflexes. From Twitch to The Land of Rape and Honey, then Psalm 69, Ministry has forged a mechanical and taut sound, fed by dry electronics and heavy riffs, with a history of shifting line-ups and regular returns since 2011. On stage, it's raw: power, precision, and that way of bringing industrial music to life in a live setting. Die Krupps will complete the bill. Born in Düsseldorf in the early 1980s around Jürgen Engler, the group built a bridge between EBM and metal, starting from metallic textures and repetitive rhythms to move toward a stronger industrial sound. From early experiments to the albums I and II – The Final Option, their formula blends strict programming, heavy guitars, and social commentary, tailored for stages where electro and hard rock intersect.
