Self-taught, Danyl has been hands-on with machines from an early age, initially for his own tracks, then for those of others. An author, composer and beatmaker, he became known as one of the first to craft tracks live on Twitch, building his productions, toplines and lyrics with audience feedback. Born of a Franco-Algerian double culture, he injects into his rap Raï-inflected sounds and more broadly North African influences, balancing melody, autotune and more intimate writing.
After long years of working in the shadows for other artists, he returns to the foreground under his own name, with a universe where the modernity of rhythms intersects with familial and popular references. On March 27, 2027, Danyl will perform in concert at La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand, driven by this singular blend and by his debut album ZMIG.
