If the name Les Nuits Weekender evokes a festive interlude, the real reason to go is The Avalanches. The Australian duo, born in Melbourne in the late 1990s, built their signature on the art of collage: tight, meticulously constructed sampling that threads electronic, hip-hop, psychedelic pop and dance music together without ever losing the thread.
Brought to light with Since I Left You, a cult album for the way it braids fragments from all over, Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi have continued to evolve their sonic montage on Wildflower and then We Will Always Love You, expanding their palette to a lighter, more cosmic pop, often carried by guest vocalists. On stage or in a DJ set, they play with collective memory and the culture of the mix, between disco grooves, hip-hop rhythms and orchestral textures.
Join us on 31 October 2026 at Botanique, Brussels, for a set conceived as a journey, where each track is built through twists, surprises and transitions.
