On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Robbie Doherty will take over BRET in Amsterdam for an all-night-long set. The producer and DJ from Northern Ireland has built a solid reputation in recent years with a style of house rooted in the late ’90s: a blend of progressive house, hints of trance, and sharp club energy, but always with a tight groove and a rounded bassline.
You hear in his sets that British and European underground sensibility, with the same drive that has brought him to larger stages. Tracks like "It's My Beat" put him on the map, and with releases on PIV Records, Knee Deep In Sound (Hot Since 82) and neXup, he continues to push that line: minimal, tense, and direct, built for the dancefloor. With Avenu Records, he recently added another chapter to his own catalog. In BRET's intimate Red Cube, he will have plenty of space to slowly build the night, stretch it out, and only let it loose when it feels right.
