If this really is 'Chapter 1 Closed,' they're rolling out a seriously stacked DJ lineup. On July 31, 2026, at the Blitz Club in Munich, multiple strands of club history converge: Todd Terry brings the New York house drive and this sample-heavy, stripped-back groove that has worked on maxi singles and in remixes since the late 1980s. Also Chez Damier, one of the formative Chicago deep-house minds, with a set that leans toward warmth, space, and subtle tension.
On the more techno-leaning side stand established names from Berlin: Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, both closely linked to the Berghain sound, focused, dry, forward, with little decoration. Efdemin complements that with a hypnotic, texture-conscious perspective that can also run deeper and more atmospheric. DVS1 brings in the US rave school: long arcs, drive, and precision.
Then comes a broader spectrum of current and more house-oriented setups: Gerd Janson with his open approach between house, disco and techno, tINI with minimal groove, Steffi and Virginia, balancing between machine and songwriting, as well as Rene Wise, Polygonia, Quelza and Freddy K for straightforward, percussion-driven, modern techno variants. All in all, a lineup that places less emphasis on hype and more on a distinctive handwriting.
