TIF, an Algiers-based rapper, has built a music that truly comes alive in live performance. Between rap in French and Arabic, sung melodies, and nods to Algeria’s heritages (raï, chaâbi, gnawa, Andalusian), he moves with a direct, tense sound and writing threaded by exile, the memory of Algiers, and a melancholy that sticks to the skin. After Houma Sweet Houma and then 1.6, pivotal milestones in his career, he returns in 2026 with SAVASHUIA, a new project long-awaited for three years. On stage, TIF performs these tracks in a live format that has become his signature: surrounded by his musicians, close to the audience, without distance, with that collective energy that turns the concert into a shared moment.
