Seated concert — free seating. Ages 5 and up; 60 minutes.
On the surface, it is a hand-crafted concert designed to take stock of the image we have of ourselves and the image we project. It is a living tableau where the songs invite us to step outside the frame and to break free from the codes. The costumes play as much with minimalism as with exuberance. The four mischief-makers who stage this live parade master pop, rock, and the spirit of celebration. Here, the drums are played standing up, poetry is sung on the violin, and the guitar is worn like a pajama. Even the scenery doesn’t stay still in this concert that reminds us that every day is a carnival.
