There is a missing voice to tell the story of American folk music without going through Bob Dylan. Born Robert Allen Zimmerman, he landed in the early 1960s in the Greenwich Village clubs, where his playing and lyrics quickly grabbed listeners' attention, until he crossed paths with Joan Baez. From there, Dylan became one of the singer-songwriters who redefined the art of song, blending social commentary, electric poetry, and a lasting sense of the chorus.
Over the decades, he accumulated twists and standards, from The Times They Are A-Changin’ to Blonde on Blonde, never once freezing into a single era. His live performance mirrored the character: unpredictable, forever in motion, driven by a unique way of phrasing and storytelling.
