If you want to catch where underground rap is heading next, bleood is a name to keep close. Behind the alias is Jamari Spencer, a US artist carving out a rough-edged digital rap sound that bounces between contemporary trap, cloud rap, hyperpop and rage rap. Expect blown-out low end, sharp synths and a heavily processed voice that turns emotion into texture, with tracks built as much for headphones as for a packed room.
After early releases under the name m4ri, he tightened his approach through scenes and collectives like Scarlet, Infared and 1c, before launching his own crew, #back, in 2022. 2025 marked a turning point with the mixtape pain, where rap collides with hardstyle and club pressure, followed by rascal 51, more locked into rage rap and trap momentum. Heading into 2026 with Nine², bleood lands in London for a live set at HERE at Outernet on September 28, 2026.
