On 18 February 2027, The Felice Brothers will perform at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, for a road-worn live show that smells of the road, off-kilter refrains, and stories told up close. Formed in the mid-2000s around brothers Ian and James Felice, the group first came to prominence by busking in the New York subway, before establishing its signature: a blend of folk rock, country rock, Americana and roots rock, driven by a deliberately rugged sound, keyboards and accordions very much present, and writing that moves between traditional ballads and American rock.
From Through These Reins and Gone and Tonight at the Arizona to more recent records such as From Dreams to Dust, Asylum on the Hill or Valley of Abandoned Songs, The Felice Brothers have kept this taste for songs that advance like a narrative, balancing raw energy with melodies that stick." On stage, that is the thread you come for: a living, collective music that leaves room for both rough edges and grand harmonies.
