On October 9, 2026 at the Lino Ventura Theatre in Nice, Fatoumata Diawara comes to let her distinctive voice resonate, carried by Bambara and lyrics that speak of exile, identity and freedom. Between Manding tradition, folk, groove and more contemporary textures, she weaves a direct and vibrant music, where personal stories become political without ever losing the sense of rhythm. On stage, her singing moves between softness and power, and her energy naturally carries the audience along, both in listening and in dancing.
That same evening, Étinsel Maloya brings the pulse of Réunion. Led by Jordan Périgone, aka LAFRIKIN, the collective reactivates Maloya by pushing it toward a contemporary form, without breaking its links to its roots: percussion at the center, choirs, the Creole language and a spirit of togetherness. Their repertoire moves forward like a collective trance, between Creole poetry and urban tension, with the aim of the unifying momentum that accompanied their track 'Byin arrivé'.
